A sensor is component of electronic world which can detect any change in surrounding quickly and informs the component attached next to it.

- Sensors are small in size and used with other electronic component to make one complete device or instrument.
- Sensors have linear transfer function. Means output changes as input changes proportionally.

Bio-sensor - A sensor which detects biotechnology components like proteins, nucleic acid from its surrounding. - A breakhrough in sensor is MOS(Metal oxide semiconductor) technology. Applied in almost every sensor to make it very efficient.
MOS sensors are used for monitoring almost every practical change in every small to large process. Example- detect gases, defense, rain, wind, light, car speed, traffic accidents,
traffic jams, agriculture, office and what not. - Amazing projects can be made to solve any problem using sensor. Creating a solution of a problem is a genius but making a problem of solution is not.
